This $75 writing desk was purchased for a different space in a previous home. Conveniently, it fits perfect in this master by the bed. It provides a quiet space for sitting down with a lap top or journal, and it’s clearly the perfect spot to place that morning cup of coffee.

The pot holding the snake plant is an inexpensive terra cotta pot that has much more character now thanks to a fun hand-painted design.

The mini gallery wall above the desk contains special art work, meaningful notes and important reminders.

The chair is one from a set of four chairs. It was more affordable to buy a set of four even though only three were needed for the dining room. The extra chair goes perfect in the space.

The light over the bed easily turns and lights up the work space.
