Dual Purpose Closet

This apartment has a smaller living area, so it made sense to put all three boys in one room. This allows the third bedroom to be a family room and play space, as well as a space for guests.

Initially, the youngest was small enough to still need a crib and separated sleeping space. Thankfully, his crib fit perfectly in the boys large closet, along with the boys cube storage. It was only occasionally problematic to have the clothes inside the littlest one’s room.

Now that he’s grown, the boys have two sets of bunk beds in their room, allowing the closet to be used primarily for toys.

While this room set up felt cozy, for sure, it had everything needed for each boy, including the recliner, changing pad and diaper pail still needed for the littlest one. Thankfully, these items are no longer needed.

Seasons like this are short, so a little creative thinking can make any space livable until the season passes.
