Open Shelving Kitchen

Upon purchasing the house, this galley style kitchen was dark and cramped. After raising the ceiling, the upper cabinets were removed and replaced with DIY open shelving made from 2x12’s and plumbing pipes.

Since there is no pantry in this home, the produce is stored in baskets on the shelves.
