Podcasts & YouTube Channels

I don’t listen to a lot of podcasts, as I rarely have time as a homeschool mom of 5 sweet kiddos. But there are a few I really enjoy. I also don’t watch very much YouTube, but I did watch a certain channel at one point, so I have to mention it.

You know how sometimes you watch or listen to something and that’s it? From that point forward, everything changes. That was this YouTube Channel for me. I had a really difficult postpartum after my 5th babe and I spent a lot of time nursing her in the recliner in our room, quietly watching this channel. Seeing a real home of a real family with more than 1 or 2 kids was so stinking helpful for me. Her videos flipped a switch in me and the rest was history. I’m so grateful to have stumbled upon her because our home will never be the same. If you have time to watch videos and you need a change at home (less stuff and more order) look no further.

One of my all time favorite podcasts. Seth recently suggested I start it over, ha. Sadly for us, but wonderfully for them, they no longer add to the podcast and have stepped away to focus on their family and their jobs. Honestly, watching them go from having it all, the nice big house, to getting rid of so much and downsizing to pursue living a simpler life solidified them as favorites for me. When someone who has all of that presses pause and then pivots, that’s such a testimony. This is a light hearted and FUN podcast about home and design that is enjoyable to listen to alone or with your spouse! Great for listening to while doing house projects.

I actually haven’t listened to this podcast yet, although I want to give it a try sometime soon! Dawn’s YouTube Channel was so impactful on my decluttering and organization journey that I feel extremely confident in my recommendation of this podcast channel!
